Design Honored by BIA Bay Area Excellence in Home Building Awards

Kovach Marketing is very excited to announce that the brochure design for TRI Pointe Homes’ community of Redstone in Vacaville has been chosen as a finalist in the 2016 Excellence in Home Building Awards. The awards will be held Friday, April 8th in San Fransisco.

“The overall design with lifestyle photography, logo elements and a story work together to create a fun and exciting first impression of Redstone,” said Randy Carver, Vice President of Client Services. “The fact that there is a considerable amount of competition in the Bay Area makes this honor especially rewarding.”

Elements of the eye-catching logo design were incorporated throughout the brochure to attract an audience of energetic, young and sophisticated home shoppers. Creating a sense of excitement for these entry level single-family homes, the logo elements were filled with vibrant colors and enticing inset photography. The intent was to enhance the possibilities for an invigorating lifestyle with many choices for recreation around every corner, while showcasing the floor plan choices with clarity and range of options.

Double Launch for Shea Homes at Baker Ranch

Timing is critical when it comes to bringing new product to market. Kovach Marketing recently assisted Shea Homes with gaining maximum advantage of timing with the pre-spring launch of two new neighborhoods, Crestline and The Courts, at Baker Ranch in Lake Forest, California. The two new communities complement one another. Crestline offers detached homes and The Courts are motor court townhomes. This synergy enabled the marketing to combine their messages into a unifying theme.

The two communities were marketed together in emails, in print advertising and through public relations. This combination technique increased buyer interest in both neighborhoods, capitalizing on the overlapping market segments’ interests.

In addition to the combo campaign, the grand opening of Crestline and The Courts was scheduled to coincide with a large-scale, community wide event at Baker Ranch on February 20th. Touring the two locations became part of the fun of a day that drew thousands to participate in a festival-style event. One of the keys to the strategy for Crestline and The Courts was to capture the preseason enthusiasm of target homebuyers and combine it with an active, upbeat experience of the overall community.
